The selected candidate will design, develop,
configure, test and maintain BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST/BO software
solutions based on customer requirements, using development standards and
software development lifecycle process. Daily tasks may include requirements
analysis, design, planning, programming, testing, documentation,
error/exception handling, and performance improvements.
Responsibilities Business Intelligence Analyst
- Interact with business to gather requirements,
prioritize work, develop enhancements to the existing system, coordinate
testing, and perform change management/training for business intelligence
analyst reporting and applications
- Work with team to design comprehensive business
intelligence analyst solutions, translating complex requirements into an
optimal business intelligence analyst design
- Work with team to design data structures to
optimize data load times and end-user data access response times
- Design processes to minimize data quality
risks and proactively identify potential data issues
- Enhance business intelligence analyst/bw
objects such as infoobjects, transformations, infoproviders (dsos,
cubes, and multiproviders), and process chains.
- Perform routine program modifications,
performance tuning, problem solving, debugging, and unit testing
- Maintain BW structures and support for etl
processes for data feeding in and out of bw
- Prepare project related documentation
(functional design, technical design, test scripts, qrgs) during the
different stages of a project
- Build business objects reports using
analysis for ms office and olap, web intelligence, and dashboards
- Support the training of business intelligence
analyst power users. this includes web intelligence, olap, ms analysis and
dashboards
- Assist in expanding current bw landscape to
include non- data sources
- Adhere to bw/business intelligence analyst/
best practices and standards to maintain stable business information
environment

Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree. Major: Computer Science,
Information Systems, Mathematics or a related field.
- Experience in database design and
query/reporting tools
- Demonstrated analytical skills with a solid
understanding of data analytics and development
- Experience documenting and developing
analytics solutions
- Excellent project management skills is a plus.
ABusiness Intelligence Analystlity to create timeline and deliverables and
execute plan successfully
- Excellent PC skills including MS Project,
Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage
multiple and frequently changing priorities
- Strong communication, interpersonal and
teamwork skills
- High degree of accuracy with attention to
detail and aBusiness Intelligence Analystlity to meet strict deadlines
- Minimal travel required, less than 25%.
However, this may vary depending on project deadlines and implementation
locations.
